Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee WordPress Developer who is ready to learn and develop. Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and PHP is preferred. Wonderful chance to start your web development journey!

Responsibilities

  • Help create and tailor WordPress sites under supervision
  • Learn how to make and change themes and plugins
  • Assist the team in updating and managing existing WordPress sites
  • Assist with turning design mockups into responsive web pages
  • Conduct simple website debugging and testing
  • Work with HTML, CSS, and PHP to craft working site components
  • Assist senior developers and designers on web projects
  • Keep current with the latest WordPress best practices and trends
  • Adhere to coding guidelines and documentation procedures
  • Acquire and utilize SEO and performance optimization fundamentals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (in progress or already completed)
  • Understanding of WordPress and its fundamental operations
  • HTML, CSS, and PHP familiarity
  • Knowledge of MySQL and JavaScript is an asset
  • Ready to learn and adjust to new technologies and tools
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Carefulness and enthusiasm for web development
  • Teamwork capability
  • Effective communication skills
  • Portfolio or college work in web development (a plus but not mandatory)
